Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us, and we'd rather earn it than collect more than we need. This policy explains what information Nadège Anu collects, why, and the choices you have. Nadège Anu is a sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada, and in this policy "we", "us", and "our" refer to that business. It forms part of our Terms of Use.

1. About this policy

This policy applies to this website and to the digital products you buy from us. We aim to collect as little personal information as reasonably possible, and to be plain about what we do with it.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you make a purchase, we collect your first name, last name, and email address, along with details of your order. If you email us or otherwise contact us directly, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.

Website usage information. We may collect limited technical and usage information to operate, maintain, and improve the website, understand how visitors use our content, and help keep the site secure. This is described further under Cookies & analytics.

We use guest checkout, so you don't create an account or password with us to buy a product.

3. Payment information

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment fields, and we do not receive or store your full card number or security code. To manage your order and keep proper records, we keep basic transaction details, such as the amount, date, and payment status, together with the billing information you provide at checkout.

4. Orders & digital delivery

To deliver your purchase and keep proper business records, we maintain records of your orders and their delivery, such as the download or access links provided to you and the delivery emails we send, like your order confirmation. We keep limited records of this activity to help with customer support and to protect against misuse.

5. Why we use your information

We use your information to:

  • process your purchases and payments;
  • fulfil your order and deliver your digital products;
  • send transactional messages, such as order confirmations and download links;
  • provide customer support and respond to your messages;
  • prevent, detect, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • keep accurate business, accounting, and tax records;
  • operate, maintain, and improve the website and our products; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to help us understand how our website is used and identify ways to improve your experience. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to provide us with general website usage insights.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. You may also use Google's available tools to opt out of Google Analytics.

7. Service providers

We work with trusted service providers that help us operate our website, process payments, deliver digital products and emails, provide analytics, and support other essential business functions. These providers may process personal information as necessary to provide their services and in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.

We share information with our providers only as needed to run the business. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Where your information is processed

Some of our service providers may process or store information outside Canada. When this happens, we take reasonable steps to work with providers that maintain appropriate privacy and security practices.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy (for example, to deliver and support your purchase) and to meet our legal, accounting, tax, record-keeping, dispute-resolution, and security needs. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information, and sensitive card details are handled by Stripe rather than stored by us. Please keep in mind that no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. Because we use guest checkout, please also take care with any order or download emails you receive.

11. Your privacy choices

If you have questions about your personal information, or would like to access, correct, or withdraw your consent to our use of the information we hold about you, please contact us at hello@nadegeanu.com. We will review and respond to privacy requests in accordance with applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

12. Children

The website and our products are intended for a general adult audience and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we'll take appropriate steps to remove it.

The website may link to other websites we don't operate or control. This policy doesn't apply to those sites, and we're not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website and business evolve. When we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above, and the current version will always be posted here.
